South Central
South Central tells a story about a young man influenced by the streets of the South Central gangs known as the Hoover Deuce that his father and his father’s friends started. Bobby, who is the father of Jimmy, commits and was convicted of murder charges. For Bobby, ending up in jail was just a choice he made for the Hoover’s to take control of the streets. Once in jail Bobby learns his son Jimmy is out stealing car radio’s for his friend Ray Ray, who is the head of the Deuces. Jimmy thinks it’s alright to steal radio’s and shot down. Bobby hears about this tragic ordeal and decides the Hoover’s are the one’s who made this possible and did this to his son. After leaving the Hoover’s Bobby decides to convert over to Islam and it forces him to mature and live an honest life. Bobby used what he learned in prison in the knowledge of Islam to help Jimmy, who became a junior. member of the Hoover Deuces, get out of the gang life he’s living.
